JOG SPORTS CO, LTD cordially invites you to the 18th Annual Bangkok, Thailand Ice Hockey Tournament. We would like to invite teams all over the world to participate in the BEST tournament in ASIA; the Land of the Smiles Ice Hockey Classic. The tournament will be held October 24th-27th, 2012

AMAZING THAILAND

It's a metropolis that often defies description: Southeast Asia's City of Angels, better known and Bangkok. With its tiny, winding streets, copious vendors and beautiful women, Bangkok offers its visitors and array of cultural delights sure to satisfy the tastes of all travelers. It is a curious city of dichotomy. Buddhist monks in saffron robes collecting alms early in the morning as the bar beauties with ruffled hair make their way home. But beyond the nightlife, Bangkok provides a whole lot more. Sweet deals can be had at the numerous street-side markets with knock-off designer goods at dirt cheap prices. Or for those with thicker wallets, boutiques in the city's spectacular malls offer the real deal brand names.Thai food is alternatively fiery, sweet, or sour or all of those combined. It is simply sumptuous, and a big part of Thai culture whether its food on the road or in a high-end restaurant. Take a ride on a "longtail" boat in Bangkok's many canals and see firsthand how the inner city operates. For those seeking sun and surf, a 90 minute drive to Pattaya provides a truly spectacular experience

International Open/Rec invites Asian Division teams
to participate in these divisions

The A and B Divisions maybe combined if there are not have enough teams
Asian Divisions will be for the Asian players only
Players will not be allowed to play in both A and B divisions
Players playing in the Asian Divisions may play in the International Divisions
Division format will be determined by the final number of teams
The Open and Recreational Levels will be combined if we don't have enough teams
Players will be allowed to play up a division but not down a division
Asian Division will be for the Asian Players
Division Formats will be determined by the number of teams
All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 4 games

Tournament Regulation Info

Sponsorship Rights/Team Jersey Eligibility

Tournament Organizers reserves the right to regulate team jerseys. Team jerseys may not have any sponsors which conflict with the tournament sponsors. For example, last year a team wanted to wear Beer Chang jerseys but the main sponsor was Beer Singha. Please contact the tournament organizer if you have any questions.

Tournament Format of Divisions

If the number of entries are low in any division less than 5 teams, the tournament organizers may consolidate that division into another division. In 2010, there was 16 International 16 teams in one division. Each team played 3 seeding games and then the teams branched of into 2 divisions and then into 3 divisions for playoffs. So we actually had a Tier I, Tier II and Tier 3 Championship.

Please as tournament organizers we would encourage any Asian teams to participate in the International Divisions.

Important Due Dates To Remember

Rosters All players must be submitted before October 1st, 2012. ( Roster forms will be sent out to all the teams by August 1st, 2012)

Team Logo's and Team Profiles All teams must submit team profiles and team logo's by October 1st, 2012

Game Rules and Regulations of the Tournament will be forwarded to the participating teams with the tournament schedule before September 1st, 2012.

Team Fees and Registration due date August 30th, 2012

THIS YEAR'S TOURNAMENT WILL BE CAPPED OFF AT 24 TEAMS!
So we will have limited spaces available in each division and therefore we suggest you immediately send in your entry form and registration fee.
