AMAZING THAILAND

It's a metropolis that often defies description: Southeast Asia's City of Angels, better known and Bangkok. With its tiny, winding streets, copious vendors and beautiful women, Bangkok offers its visitors and array of cultural delights sure to satisfy the tastes of all travelers. It is a curious city of dichotomy: Buddhist monks in saffron robes collecting alms early in the morning as the bar beauties with ruffled hair make their way home. But beyond the nightlife, Bangkok provides a whole lot more. Sweet deals can be had at the numerous street-side markets with knock-off designer goods at dirt cheap prices. Or for those with thicker wallets, boutiques in the city's spectacular malls offer the real deal brand names.Thai food is alternatively fiery, sweet, or sour --or all of those combined. It is simply sumptuous, and a big part of Thai culture whether its food on the road or in a high-end restaurant. Take a ride on a "longtail" boat in Bangkok's many canals and see first hand how the inner city operates. For those seeking sun and surf, a 90 minute drive to Pattaya provides a truly spectacular experience. Don't let the news media sway your opinion. Political unrest is largely confined to government areas and rarely disturbs the general public. Come to Bangkok and see for yourself

A: Yes the rink is a regular size ice surface. The rink dimensions are 98 ft. by 197 ft. and all games will be
played 5 on 5 with a goalie.

2. How far is the rink from downtown Bangkok/Hotel area?
A: The ice rinks location is about an hour from downtown Bangkok and the Amarihotels. Please allow yourself
at least one hour to get to the ice rink. The rink isn't actually that far however the traffic is really congested so please

A: There are about three or four different routes you can take to the rink. We do recommend taking the freeway or the BTS
to Onutstation and than a taxi from there. Please let us know where you will be staying for the tournament and we will
provide you with maps and directions in Thai and English for you to give to your taxi driver. We will also have a hotline
number for you to call just in case you are lost. The taxi ride from downtown should not cost you more than 200 baht or 5 USD.

4. Are there showers at the ice rink and can we store our gear overnight there?
A: Yes there are showers at the ice center. If you purchase the Platinum or Gold Package we will provide storage for you.
The storage area is just a place to put your bags. All bags must be closed! We will have a SECURED drying area outside
for player's to air dry their equipment during the day time.

5. Is the ice rink in a shopping mall?
A: The ice rink is located in a shopping center. The shopping center has a movie theater, snooker hall, bowling alley
lots of food stalls and restaurants and most importantly Thai massage shops in and around the mall.

6. When does our team have to arrive to the tournament?
A: We would like to see all teams fly in no later than October 26th. Due to the amount of teams participating this
year we have planned to start early Wednesday morning. If you play Wednesday this might be an advantage to your team,
as then you would only have to play one game
on Thursday.
